Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo Are Exclusively Dating

Outed by paparazzi photos showing Jennylyn Mercado and Dennis Trillo holding hands while enjoying their Holy Week vacation in Hong Kong.

Exclusively dating but no commitment. Major admission from Dennis Trillo, who lack balls in the forthrightness department when it comes to the women he's dating. Just ask Cristine Reyes.

Prior to the damning evidence, the two consistently denied dating despite being seen every where together. Yeah, they're just co-stars in GMA Network's afternoon drama, Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak. (roll eyes)

With that admission.... the countdown begins for a pregnancy announcement.

Wait, Jennylyn's mother advised her daughter to "mag-ingat," whatever that means. Let's hope that that is enough and effective contraceptive for Jennylyn and Dennis.

I don't have much optimism for the future of this couple's future. I feel like Dennis Trillo is in between relationships and is just looking for someone to warm his bed at night, or noon, or morning. With Jennylyn, I get a neediness vibe. It's like she needs to have a companion for self validation.

I also feel like Jennylyn is a high maintenance gal, emotion-wise. In other words, may sayad. Don't we all, but her case is in the slightly upper-scale of the spectrum.

Anyway, whatever the outcome is of their current "fuck-buddiness" can the entertainment press please leave Mark Herras out of it? The poor guy can't very well say it outright but he doesn't have a relevant opinion about Jennylyn's current relationship.

Mark could only probably say "Good luck" - not to the relationship but to the male half of the couple. After all he's been there and not going there again.

LJ Reyes is Pregnant

LJ Reyes, through GMA exec Wilma Galvante, confirmed that she is pregnant!

The baby daddy is, you'll be surprised to know (or not), is Paulo Avelino, who currently plays Aureus in Panday Kids, taking over from JC de Vera.

But according to the prospective Mom and Dad they are not boyfriend and girlfriend - the standard the showbiz answer "we're just friends," "we go out with a group."

If I remember, it was October 2009 when I read both GMA stars deny their relationship. LJ is 6 months pregnant. Do the math.

LJ, you slut! You were having sex with someone who is not your boyfriend. What would Alfred Vargas think? Probably, "Whew, thank God it wasn't me."

Well, congratulations to Paulo and LJ.

My only beef is the denial from them prior to the pregnancy, which I will bet my last peso is an unexpected one. Caught with their hand on the fucking cookie jar. For me for you, LJ, I would feel embarrass to have the proof confirming that while you were denying Paulo Avelino you were fucking on the sly.

But you know, kudos to LJ for still appearing on the cover of FHM magazine two months ago. To the guys who made LJ's FHM photo a jackoff material, what say you now to know that she was four months along. Oh, well some guys dig that.

So now that all has been revealed, LJ is flying to the states to hide her embarrassment. No, to give birth there where her entire family is based. Well, good for the baby.

Son of Cesar Montano Found Dead in QC Home

Christian Angelo Manhilot, the 23-year-old son of actor Cesar Montano, was found dead at his home in Tivoli Royale, Quezon City on Friday, March 26, apparently due to suicide.

Angelo was found by a maid with a gunshot wound in the right temple and a caliber .45 on his mind.

He was declared dead on arrival at the General Malvar Hospital in Commonwealth, Quezon City.

According to the security on duty at the exclusive subdivision where the Montanos live, Angelo entered the subdivision's gates aboard a taxi at almost 3:00 in the morning.

According to speculations, Angelo is having love problems. The security guard who responded to the scene of the accident reported that Angelo reeked of alcohol when he went to check on him.

Cesar Montano's family refused an autopsy and has ask police to stop their investigation because they believed that there was no foul play involved.

Tsk, tsk, tsk. Such a young life and such a waste. Moral of the story: deep depression and alcohol don't mix. And parents, always check up on your children, whether they are 2 or 52.

For what it's worth, let's all pray that the demons hounding Angelo when he lived are no more wherever he is now.

RIP Christian Angelo Manghilot

Leave Kris Aquino Alone!

Kris Aquino's cry fest in last Sunday's (Mar 14) The Buzz was laaame.

The crying started after the airing of Ruffa Gutierrez farewell video. Of course, we all know the whole story about Kris Aquino's tactlessness, Ruffa's abrupt exit from their TV show The Buzz and Anabelle Rama's subsequent verbal diarrhea.

Who believes Anabelle Rama? Who does she influence? The handful of showbiz reporters in her pocket? If you are an intelligent voter, you will not based your vote on an issue as major as the Philippine presidency on a person's incoherent tirade and who keeps a secret voodoo room in her mansion. Bottom line: Did Anabelle Rama or any of her children finished college? I'm not being a snob. I'm just saying.

As for Kris, I was LMAO watching her crying jag. It's mean, I know, but every time she pouts or grimace I imagine her trying to pass has, a very big one, and she's not succeeding.

We've heard and read all there is to hear and read about Kris Aquino and the scandals she got involved with over the years. The Ruffa-Anabelle vs Kris Aquino is just a lint, an insignificant one at that. It doesn't warrant Kris leaving The Buzz for good (and leaving Boy Abunda? OMG)

OMG! Was the crying necessary as well as the threat to take a leave of absence? A fight with Ruffa Gutierrez is nothing. How many scandals and controversies has Kris Aquino got involved in? I would have taken a leave of absence from life if it got out that I had contracted a sexually transmitted disease from a man who is not my husband and who himself is married to someone else.

So suck it up, you attention whore!

Post Pacquiao - Clottey Fight: Poor Arnel Pineda

Arnel Pineda, frontman of legendary American rock bank Journey, just wanted to deliver a heartfelt rendition of the Philippine National Anthem and all he got for his trouble is a threat of lawsuit from the National Historical Institute (NHI) over his incorrect singing of "Lupang Hinirang."

Oh well, on the bright side Arnel joins the growing list of local singers who have been criticized by the NHI because they sung the the national anthem wrong. Arnel actually is in good company considering he joins Martin Nieverra, Christian Bautista (who fucking forgot a few lines of the anthem), Charice Pempengo, Sarah Geronimo, Lani Misalucha, Kayla and more.

The anthem is sung on a two-fourths beat and 100 metronomes and should last 53 seconds. Pineda’s version was 89 seconds long. Fuck that! I enjoyed hearing him sing the national anthem and I felt the pride in his voice while singing it. That's all that matters to me.

It must really be a slow day everyday at NHI. The only time we hear about NHI is when Manny Pacquiao has a fight.

The law that provides in detail how the anthem must be sung and the penalty for singing it too long is dated and basically useless. Being anal about the correct way to sing the anthem doesn't equal patriotism and national pride, I'm just saying.

Good luck to Arnel against the NHI lawsuit. An apology is all it would take, I think, with the promise to sing it correctly next time. But, you know, how can you apologize for singing with your heart out? Many times I think this country and the people running it are focusing too much on the mundane.

I wish some reporter type asked the NHI their comment on the Star Spangled Banner being sung by three Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders in peplum and midrift. Wasn't that fun? Their singing I mean. They were in perfect harmony and pretty to look at.

I almost wish someone here (cough Marlene Aguilar cough) would be brave enough to sing Lupang Hinirang in a deconstructed baro't saya. I'm almost positive all those dinosaurs at NHI will fall down on their collective asses.

Will We Be Seeing Less of Kris Aquino?

Not because she’s in coma or something after her unfortunately fall, but because her scenes in her daily soap “Kung Tayo’s Magkakalayo” will be lessened “allegedly.”

If y’all are interested in Kris Aquino’s accident, here’s what happened. “Queen Of All Media” and “Whore for Attention” Kris Aquino was confined at the Makati Medical Center with “cerebral and labyrinthine concussion secondary to fall” after slipping in her bathroom in the early hours of Friday, Feb 19.

If any of you are worried, worry not. I’m sure Kris is fine if she was able to twit about her accident and keep updating it.

Here’s her Twitter entries:

"My gosh! Super exhaustion and my lack of balance while scrubbing my legs, I slipped in the shower. Super banged my head around 1:30 AM..." sabi sa post ni Kris.

"...So stayed up till 3 a.m. because not supposed to sleep after a bad untog! I’m still dizzy today."

"Our family doc, Dr Aye Nuguid, will check on me tonight. Still feeling dizzy. He wants to be sure I don’t have a concussion."

"Last tweet till I’m better. Forcing myself to update you all. I suffered a concussion. Cerebral and inner ear. Must’ve fallen that hard..."

Kris’last post that day: "Had CT scan. My BP shot up to 180/100. Confined next 3 nights. Good night. Will rest, promise."

Still not convinced? Kris Aquino had already spoken in her entertainment show “The Buzz” via phone patch and to every other entertainment shows, TV news programs and print media that have picked up the story.

According to Kris, she was super tired, hence the slip.

If I were that bone tired, I’d just my teeth and just go to sleep. A little dirt won’t hurt.

Apparently it didn’t occur to Kris to leave the shower for tomorrow. But if she was so concerned with dirt, she could have douse herself with Downey antibacterial fabric softener the next day and let it soak for at least 30 minutes.

Now, in unrelated news, the story line of “Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo” will not focus so much on Kris Aquino but on Kim Chui and Gerald Anderson. I say not related news because the shift in story line has nothing to do with Kris Aquino being overexposed or Kris Aquino having permanent head damage from her accident.

The reason is that the teleserye’s ratings are going down because there are fewer and fewer viewers who can ignore Kris Aquino’s acting.

We all know Kris Aquino has the same facial expression whether the scene is happy, sad or scary – constipated. Come to think of it even her photos in print look like it’s been days – if you get my drift.

So the writers’ may be on to something there. If Kris Aquino is turning off viewers, let Kim Chui and Gerald Anderson be the focus because, you, know, the mighty Kimeralds could probably bully local audiences from tuning in again. That’s how delusional – powerful they are in their minds.
