Jinkee fucking Pacquiao is Running For Vice Governor

Just when I feel like the Philippines is going to be alright politically with Pnoy's "Daang Matuwid" here comes proof that we really are taking one step forward and three steps backward.

One of the first wannabees to show up at the Comelec to file their candidacy for the 2013 midterm elections is Jinkee Pacquiao, the wife of Pambansang Kamao Manny Pacquiao.

This was a complete surprise to me because I didn't know Jinkee Pacquiao has any other ambition beside re-engineering the face genetics gave her.

Jinkee has changed, and I am not talking about the Belo-fication that Jinkee's face and whole body have undergone. It was not so long ago that Jinkee refused to be interviewed in person for the Ellen Degeneres show because she was required to actually speak.

Now here she is ready to enter the world of local politics where she is required to get her hands dirty, so to speak, to reach the masses who she can fool count on to vote for her.

Does Jinkee have the qualification to sit as vice-governor of Sarangani? You know she's already 100% sure of winning because in politics money good intentions count a lot. Jinkee says that "sa politika hindi naman patalinuhan. Ang importante is matulungan natin ang kababayan natin."

I'm sure some Pacquiao hanger-on actually said those exact words to Jinkee to convince her to run for Vice Governor of Sarangi. And Jinkee actually believed those words. God save us from ignorant people. Seriously!!

Jinkee Pacquiao running and winning in the elections is not the end of Philippine politics as we know it. Now, if Mommy Dionesia all of a sudden comes out of her prayer room to announce her candidacy, I'll know the end of the word is just right around the corner.

Why Is Tito Sotto in the Senate?

There is only one reason why Tito Sotto is a senator of the Philippine Republic: to give hope to stupid people harboring ideas of running for an elective post and winning.

In his latest contra en turno speech about his opposition to the RH Bill, Tito Sotto once again opened himself to cyber bashing by including in the last segment of his speech a tagalized version of Robert F Kennedy's Day of Affirmation speech. According to Tito Sotto that part of his speech came from a text from a friend. What a dumbass! First he forgets to make attributions to an article he copied from another writer. Now he forgets to do a little fact checking In this day of the Internet and Google, this type of carelessness shows you're either lazy or a moron.

Like a true trapo, Tito is rallying the masses to support his cause by igniting a class war, which we don't need at this point. He claims that under the RH Bill the poor does not have the right to go forth and multiply, only the rich. But let's be honest. If you are living hand to mouth, do you really need to have many kids? In my opinion, it should be illegal for the so-called poor to breed. That's not me being anti-poor; that's me just being practical. They can't breed until they worked and worked to better their lives. That's for their own good and for any child/children they may have in the future.

If these series of humiliation is a bunch of pies, Tito Sotto would be covered by pie all over his face by now. And if we are a people that embarrasses easily (especially politicians), Tito Sotto would have tendered his resignation pronto for showing the world that Filipinos elect stupid people to the senate.

Tito Sotto's daughter, Ciara Sotto, is on print and TV trying to clean up the pie on her father's face. Ciara Sotto is newly married and still doesn't have a kid. I'm curious to know what she and her husband are doing to remain childless. It would really be funny if Ciara's OB-GYNE info gets leaked and we find out she's into a method other than the natural ones. That's not another pie on Mr Sotto's face, that's a figurative giant boulder that would kill Mr Sotto's credibility once and for all.

So Taylor Kitsch Never Went to the Philippines

Is geography really a hard subject? Indonesia is in Asia, so might as well call it Philippines, right Taylor Kitsch?

Taylor Kitsch went on the Late Show with David Lettermen to promote his surefire box-office bomb of a movie John Carter and relayed a story about how corruption touched his life in some godforsaken third world country when all he wanted to do was shoot some movie to entertain the world. Kitsch's story of hardship goes that customs officials of a country called the Philippines refused him entry and ask him for an iPhone.

Didn't the dumbass once glanced at his passport to see what country was stamped on it? If he bothered to look he would have seen Indonesia, not Philippines. That's right. Dumbass was never in our country. The Oliver Stone movie dumbass was shooting was in Indonesia.

I knew the second I heard of this story that there's not a speck of truth in it. Either someone is lying or being geographically challenged. Even if it's only Taylor Kitsch's left bicep that set foot in Philippine soil, we would have heard of it because the media would be all over it. I give you Bourne Legacy as an ehemplo. I got sick of hearing about Jeremy Renner and Rachel Weiss coming to the Philippines even before they made commuting here even more horrendous.

Okay, it's not like this kind of thing doesn't happen at our airports. However, it always suck when you're being accused of doing something when you're so far from the scene of the crime, so to speak. Also, how stupid is that? I can't fathom, really.

You know, this is a reason for me to stay away from John Carter when it shows here in the Philippines. And I was so looking forward to another IMAX experience. I predict that John Carter will go the way of Waterworld. Big budget, major bomb at the movie tills.

But of course, even if John Carter bombs, I don't believe this will be the end of Taylor Kitsch's movie career. Taylor Kitsch not being the brightest bulb in the box will not spell his doom. After all, beauty overcomes stupidity.

Chokoleit Trouble in Dubai

Chokoleit got his ass hauled off to jail in Dubai for wearing mini shorts.

This is dumbassness at its highest level. The police must have taken one good look at Chokoleit and said "Oh no, you didn't?"

Nahiya man lang sana si Chokoleit sa balat nya hinde naman flawless.

Chokoleit is stupid for not looking around and realizing that he's the only person parading in shorts with a busted face. How rude!!! Exposing locals and tourists alike to such a stomach-churning sight.

You and I know that news of Chokoleit's detention made Cristy Fermin's day, probably the whole year.

Cristy Fermin needs any good news she can have these days what with her envelope-giver Willie Revillame in hot water again.

God is Good

Because He made Sam Pinto almost perfect face-wise but didn't give her enough brain power to answer simple questions.

If you want a trophy girlfriend who will look pretty beside you in parties and events, then Sam Pinto is the girl for you.

At presscon for a movie in which she has a little bit of role, Sam Pinto was asked what her role in the movie was? Sam brought out that perfect white smile of hers to distract the audience that she was scrambling for answers and is coming up blank.

Instead of answering I was the BFF of the lead actress or I was the one who was unfortunate enough to run over by a truck in the movie, Sam told reporters to just watch the movie and find out.

Wrong answer. You don't say "just watch the movie" to movie reporters unless you have complimentary tickets at the ready.

It's either Sam Pinto is pa-mysterious effect to make it appear her role is this "oh-so-exciting-worth-watching breakthrough performance or she's simply a nitwit. Yeah, let's go with the second possibility.

I watch Sam in Pinoy Big Brother: Melason Edition and she has the personality of a rock. No offense to rocks out there. The humongous hour glass in the Pinoy Big Brother house was more exciting to watch. At least the hour glass will tell you when time's up.

The only time she showed personality was when she drunk her ass off and went drama queen with the resident transgendered, Rica. The next day was back to same old, same old. Typical.

I get the vibes Sam considers showbiz bakya but "acting" is the easiest way to be rich and popular. You know, a girl's gotta do what she gotta do.

Diether Ocampo and Mark Herras In Trouble With The Law

Seems business is not their forte, huh?

In Diether Ocampo's case, he and his business partners are being sued by a printing company for failure to pay the balance of the cost of printing the issues of the men's magazine Uno Magazine.

First off, I didn't know there was an Uno magazine. So perhaps lack of readership is the reason why Diether and his publishing company is unable to pay the printing costs? I know one simple Google will tell me if this magazine has unfolded. I'm too lazy and frankly not interested to find out.

Second, Diether claims he is no longer with the publishing company so the plaintiff can settle the case of the postdated checks that didn't get through with his former business partners. Dumbfuck did not know that he can still be charged particularly if he had a hand in the bounced checks?

Mark Herras is being hunted by the Bureau of Internal Revenue for failing to submit the 2008 account books of the Clubserv Bar and Restaurant in which he is a part-owner. Mark probably received the summons from the BIR but didn't know what the fuck are account books, so he chose to ignore it.

Mark said he had nothing to do with the business' books because his participation extends only to the conceptualization of the restaurant.

Dumbuck! The BIR did not pull out your name out of their asses. Your name was listed as company treasurer in the SEC filing. Since you're the treasure, it's a logical assumption to go to you to ask for the account books. Dumfuck!

Yeah, it pays to go to school, Mark.

Manny Pacquiao To Train at Batasang Pambansa

Sometimes I wish Manny Pacquiao would lose a boxing match, and this is one of those times.

Manny proposed using the Batasan complex to train for his boxing match with Antonio Margarito in order to allow him to fulfill his duties as Sarangi representative at the same time.

What in the name of arrogance is Manny thinking? Manny thinks he can serve to masters at the same time by time management. His solution is as simple as a simpleton. I hope he loses, either his match or his seat in the house, as simple as that.

House speaker Sonny Belmonte scuttled Manny's idea immediately, saying the spectacle of Manny jogging and training around the Batasan complex would be a distraction both to his colleagues and employees of the House of Representatives. Indeed!

Let's wait what Freddie Roach has to say about it.

Assunta de Rossi For Congress!

Well, well, well, who did I see parading on the red carpet at SONA 2010 in her freebie Avel Bacudio yellow gown all by her lonesome? None other than congressional spouse Assunta de Rossi!

The wife of Negros Occidental representative Jules Ledesma walked the red carpet, posed for TV cameras and photographers without the person who should have been there.

Not surprising really because Jules Ledesma garnered the most absences during the 14th Congress. Get this. He attended only 3 of the 50 sessions but still got his monthly salary, December bonus and, I would assume, his allotted pork barrel.

What is surprising is that Assunta doesn't know her husband's whereabouts. Huh?! Don't they text or email?

According to Jules Ledesma, he may not be present during the sessions but it doesn't mean he's not doing his job. A congressman is a legislator and part of his job is to attend house deliberations. I don't know what he is legislating wherever he is.

Can they vote Assunta in the next elections instead? I'm sure she has attended more congressional spouse meetings and events than the measly 3 her husband attended in 2009.

In defense mode, Assunta said her husband got 94% of the votes in his district so that means he's doing something right. Or just maybe his constituents just don't know any better?

Assunta matched her gown with a Bulgari clutch. Don't go assuming that the bag came from Jules. Jules may be one of the riches solons in the House (P400 million plus, baby!) but do you know that Assunta has to work to fund her bags and trinkets habit? Is this fair? Is this what Assunta signed up for? This is gold digging fail at its worst! Me thinks six-footer Assunta has been had by 4-ft something Jules.

Anyway, I wish Congress would drug test all congressmen and senators already. As in now na!

Ara Mina’s Stupidity Continues Unabated

We may get to see Ara Mina once again appear on any TV show that welcomes her to call out the bad guys on FaceBook and YouTube who did her an injustice, “allegedly”, by basically calling her ignorant.

Video clips of Ara Mina’s Q&A of a political nature on Mo Twister’s TV program, I.M.O. (In My Opinion) are spreading like wildfire in the ‘nets. Political, not showbiz, because unless you live in a cave you’d know Ara is running for councilor in the second district of Quezon City.

Ara Mina is reacting because people who have watched it are now justified in thinking that Ara Mina should stay far away from politics. You know, just stick to talking about boys and about her sister Cristine Reyes and her boys.

Ara Mina thinks the bad guys are out to get her because, according to her, she is topping the surveys of who the people of QC think has the good chances of fucking them over.

Watching the interview made my brain hurt but with Jesus on your side you can overcome anything.

Here are the juiciest parts:

On pre-marital sex:

Am I for or against pre-marital sex? Ask me again and I will still give the same answer. Against. Bakit? Maraming kabataan na ang nakatingin sa akin ngayon, who will follow my example, who will take my answer seriously. Tama bang sabihin ko na yes, I am for pre-marital sex? Hindi. Kalat na kalat ngayon ang issue ng pagdami ng may HIV at AIDS na kabataan tapos sasagot ako na parang kino-condone ko pa?

I wonder what Polo Ravales, Jomari Yllana, Manny Pacquiao and countless other guys think about this?

On private armies:

I said “for” but sasabihin ko yung totoong nasa loob ko.

Ara, with that answer you’ve got the Ampatuan’s private armies’ back.

Here’s Ara’s answers in defense of her ignorance, allegedly.

"Ang problema ko lang po, hindi ako sanay sa political interviews.”
"Sana po naisip rin nila na mahirap masalang sa isang political interview lalo na att ingat na ingat ako na baka may masagasaan ako o matamaan ako."

Ara, you said yourself you are for abstinence to avoid pre-marital sex. You can always say no, you know?

"Alam niyo po, mapapansin naman sa video na nag-iisip ako, I was weighing my answers.”

Uhm, nag-iisip ka pala sa lagay na yun? The outcome was the same - ignorance at its finest.

Here’s the bottom line for me:

Ara Mina undoubtedly has bigger boobs than brain.

Mo Twister is a blathering idiot who always gets on this one-upmanship trip with his interviewes, perhaps to feel taller? Growth pills don’t work, eh.

So after hearing it from Ara, what have we got beside a bad taste in the mouth? Me? I am wishing that the dry spell the local entertainment industry is currently suffering may be final over so Mother Lily can again maker he pito-pito movies, and consequently give movie stars another thing to do and focus on.

Ara Mina Believes People of Provident Village Should Have Been Saved First

The reason? Provident Village is like Corithian Gardens, ergo the people who live there are rich.

Elitist much, Ara?

For those not in the know (I doubt there are people who don't kbnow unless you're living under rock or you just don't care) this little piece of wisdom came from Ara Mina because her little sister and the rest of her family live in Provident Village in Marikina and was trapped for 12 hours on the rooftop of their house.

Ara Mina was confounded why rescue was slow for her sister who lives in a posh subdivision.

Ara Mina's handlers should let her know, gradually of course because we don't want her to undergo a rude awakening, that her sister is not special even if she bagged the No 1 spot in FHM's most beautiful women, or sexiest women, basta magandang title.

Ara Mina also assumed it's Bayani Fernando and his men who had the responsibility to save her family in Provident Village. In fairness to her, she said "wala siyang tampo kay Chairman Bayani, kasi baka may iba pang sinaklolohan."

Too bad Manny Pacquiao is in Baguio.

Of course, we know Richard Gutierrez saved Cristine and her family in a spectular fashion, riding in a rubber boat, braving strong currents and extreme darkness, to save .... the leading lady of his newest movie, Patient X. Sorry, I've reading too much fiction.

The gods are now smiling on Richard Gutierrez. Imagine, his saving his leading lady, is a great promotional angle for the movie, even if it's of the horor genre. Kaya lang, will people watch? What's a greater horror than seeing a sudden flash flood, being trapped in a water world, waiting for rescue, not knowing when that rescue is coming...Okay, you get my drift.

Anyway...

People of Quezon City, particularly Ara's district, take note. Ara Mina is taking the plunge into politics in the 2010 elections. It's not enough that she tookover Aiko Melendez's leftovers (hmm, Jomari Yllana, anyone?), she will also be trying to take over the council seat that will be vacated by last termer Aiko Melendez, who will be runningh as Vice Mayor.

Quezon City residents this is your future Councilor. If there should be a major calamity again, Ara Mina will be saving her rich constituents first. Kung purita mirasol ka, get a stub and get in line to be saved.

Okay, now. I really don't believe Ara Mina thinks the poor deserved to be saved last. She's probably musing out loud and forgot to turn on her filter. She probably also forgot she was talking in front of the press whose job is to take note of every soundbite, good or bad, from actors and actresses like Ara Mina whose charm goes pffft once they start talking.

Ara's poor wittle brain (smaller than her bust size. yes, I went there so sue me!) can't grasp the concept that Mother Nature is a great equalizer. She's an equal opportunity badass who will devastate your life whether you are poor or rich.

Gurl, your hope to grab an elective position is the people living below the poverty line. I'm sure you know the poor people are in far greater number than the rich. You can't afford to alienate the people who can elect you.

I guess Ara Mina is still lucky because this brilliant soundbite will not be read or heard by that many people, just people like me who doesn't have anything better to do and not even a resident of Quezon City.

People are busy rebuilding their lives, so stupid comments from stupid celebrities are so far from their priorities right now.

Yeah, Okay. So Shut the Fuck Up.

Rufa Mae Quinto is engaged and plans to marry her US-based fiancé, who she claims to be from Spanish royalty, in 2010.

Um, that was fast, but apparently the two have known each other for 15 years.

The generosity of the fiancé also allowed Rufa Mae to acquire a P 30 M property in San Francisco.

Rufa Mae has already divulged so much information about her engagement and her plans after the wedding, but not the identity of her fiancé.

After being a beard to Eric Santos, her failed long-distance romance with some Mexican guy based in Hong Kong, her faux romance with Jon Avila (the nerve) and her yet-to-be debuted sex video with Hayden Kho (thanks, Bong Revilla), Rufa Mae has stayed quiet.

For a while there, I was at peace with Rufa Mae off the radar. Now she’s back to talking about her suddenly rosy lovelife.

I want her to shut the fuck up already. Like, enough information already. Does she have millions of fans who are interested in the state of her lovelife and finances?

I feel like the story of this alleged fiancé wil turn out to be for the purpose of publicity, or Mike Arroyo and/or Mickey Arroyo). I hope Rufa Mae does get married, settle in the USA and travel the world with her future husband like she stated. This way, I won’t see much of her on TV or read about her on my favorite tabloid newspapers.

Also, can the producers of Darna kill Rufa Mae’s character already? I can’t even remember the name of her character. That’s how useless and unmemorable she is in that fantaserye. Hindi siya kawalan, pwede ba? Maganda pa rin ang Darna kahit wala siya dun.

Sa totoo lang, her shtick is getting tired. It’s not a shtick at all. She’s really boba na malaki ang boobs. I unfortunately saw Rufa Mae compete in the Pinoy Henyo (how ironic) segment of Eat Bulaga. If the TV screen allowed me to reach in and punch her in the face, I would have. She’s not making it up talaga; she’s boba talaga.

Willie Revillame For Senator?

Blame Manny Villar if this desecration comes true. Punish him for this idiocy by not voting for him.

Willie Revillame is currently on hiatus after being deluged with protests and criticism over his rude and arrogant remark about the late President Corazon Aquino’s cortege being show live on his show, Wowowee.

The Aquino family has accepted Willie Revillame’s apology, but certain sectors are still after his head. The intention was good, but why be rude and arrogant about it? Kasi money can’t buy you good manners and breeding.

Willie’s spin doctor, Cristy Fermin, is also on the offensive, devoting a portion of her Bulgar column regarding Willie’s status almost daily.

According to doc Cristy, several ads are on hold while Willie is on leave. Many fans are sending her texts and mails voicing their impatience over Willie’s continued absence on Wowowee. If you’re born yesterday, please feel free to believe all these lie telling.

Manny Villar has also come to Willie’s rescue, offering a senatorial seat for Willie if he decides not to come back on his show.

Seryoso ka? Parang ang daling pumili ng kandidato para sa isang mahalagang posisyon sa gobyerno. Kailangan ba ng senado ng court jester? Hindi pa ba sapat ang estatwa sa Senado na si Lito Lapid?

The network where Willie works has exonerated him, saying that the insertion of the live feed was a miscommunication. Oo na miscommunication na. However, the issue is Willie’s lack of respect for others in the way he comes across through words and actions. How do you explain that?

Tales of Two Fans: Kimerald and Marian Rivera

The entertainment tabloid Bulgar is really a must-read every morning because it is informative. These reactions from Kimerald and Marian Rivera fans continue to prove what I think about some rabid fans.

According to a Kimerald fan, there is a conspiracy to break up the globally famous loveteam of Kim Chui and Gerald Anderson. Apparently, TPTB (the powers that be) at the Kapamilya network is moving heaven and earth to sign up Kim and Gerald in teleseryes, variety shows and movies without the other. ABS-CBN is not aware of it, but the fans are onto them, added the well-meaning fan.

All these maneuverings started after Sarah Geronimo, whom the fan called a starlet, let it known that "gustong matikman [ni Sarah] este makapareha si Gerald." Matikman is the fan's word, not mine.

First of all, I would think that Gerald Anderson would not be the first person or thing that Sarah would want to taste. In Cristy Fermin's column there's this giveaway blind item about a young actress/singer who can't eat ice cream, chocolates and manggang hilaw na sinawsaw sa bagoong.

The young star's mother is to blame for the ban on these foods because the foods are not good for the young singer's voice. The young actress singer is also banned from going to gimmick barkada by her loving mother.

Seems the mother skipped the word "moderation" while browsing the dictionary. She focused instead on the words "investment" "cash cow" and "meal ticket."

Second, if Sarah Geronimo is a starlet, what do you call a young star who has yet to have sold-out concerts, box-office hits, albums selling like hotcakes and the title Box Office Queen? Starletini?

As for the Kimerald fans, they have truly imbibed the true meaning of the word "business sense." Well, the millions and millions of Kimerald fans all over the world are there to support all the endeavors of their well-loved couple. So it follows that un-breaking Kimerald makes business sense.

Okay, enough of Kimerald fans and business sense.

On the second story, which involved a Marian Rivera fan. The fan commented that Kim Chui is baduy, in terms of clothes and accessories. Kim buys hers in Divisoria while Marian's are all branded.

Admittedly, I don't follow Kim Chui but the few times I saw her guest on variety shows I don't find her baduy manamit. Let's admit it. Kim Chui with her super thin body, and if she were a few inches taller, would be the envy of anorexic models prancing along the catwalks of New York and Paris who have to munch on ice cubs for lunch and quiet their hunger pangs with cigarettes to maintain their svelte look.

And what is wrong with clothes and accessories from Divisoria? In this kind of economy? I would like to believe even well-paid actors and actresses are not immune. Someone should tell this fan that he/she just insulted a whole community of Divisoria shoppers.

As for Marian Rivera's all-branded things, she's probably making up for her baduy na pananalita. Admit it, it doesn't go with her Spanish mestiza look. Once you hear Marian talk, you'd wish she had stayed silent. Okay, okay, her speech pattern is the result of her born and raised in Cavite. But why is being a palengkera/palaban something to be proud of if you come from Cavite? I'm just musing. Not being a jeluz h8tr, or anything.

By the way, I don't dislike Marian. I just like Marian and Dingdong.

Kim Chui. Well, I didn't know I was rooting for Mickey Lee in Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition until after Lauren Dyogi started manipulating situations in the "reality show" to push for the what is now known as the "Kimerald" loveteam. I had to quit the show towards the end because it was becoming so goshdarn predictable: a young girl caught in the admiration of two guys - the boy next door and the geek.

Of course, the boy next door won. Only in Judd Apatow movies do geeks kick pretty boys' asses.

Kim Chiu vs Angel Locsin: And The Winner Is...No One

Remember Kim Chiu and Angel Locsin being pitted against each for the role as Sharon Cuneta’s daughter in Mano Po 6? It appears to be premature since Sharon Cuneta was just asked who her choice is. Not that her choice is cast in stone.

Kim Chiu was unaware Angel Locsin was chose over her. According to Kim “di ko alam may Mano Po 6 na pala. You and me both, Kim.

Angel Locsin refused the role because she’s tired of waiting line in the bank for Mother Lily’s post-dated checks to clear through. Naaah. Angel said she cannot accept the role even if it is offered to her because she is exclusively tied with Star Cinema. That refusal created a backlash from Mother Lily of Regal Films and her daughter Roselle Monteverde.

Mother Lily was quoted as saying “Angel Locsin should learn from Sharon Cuneta how to honor her commitments. She was one of my babies once. As her mother, I got hurt because she had a commitment with me to do three more movies. But still I let go of this issue because I want her to grow."

Angel, who was originally an exclusive GMA-7 contract star, still had a commitment with Regal to do three movies. A sudden decision to move to ABS-CBN in July 2007, however, disregarded her movie contract with Regal Films. Mano Po 6 would have been Angel’s seventh movie with the production company, had she taken the role.

And more fighting words from Mother Lily’s daughter Roselle Monteverde, “She is using us again on her press releases. Bakit niya kami bini-bring up sa issue? Hindi na kami naghahabol sa kanya. Stars come and go. The kind of artists who succeed are intelligent. Hindi lang oo nang oo sa mga katabi, kahit mali sunod lang nang sunod. Parang sponge."

Why is there a cat fight about who gets to play Sharon Cuneta’s movie in Mano Po the millionth sequel? Shouldn’t there be a protest against making another movie about a Chinese family? How many interesting Chinese family dynamics are there left to explore? And how many non-Chinese actors are they going to hire to utter Tagalog lines in a Chinese accent? Talk about awkward and unbelievable.

Mother Lily is constantly being referred to as the savior of the local film industry. I beg to disagree. Ginawa nyang bobo ang manonood ng pelikula by making all these commercial movies that follow the same formula. Silang dalawa ni Robbie Tan ng Seiko Films. Basta lang kumita. Ang dahilan kesa naman mawalan ng trabaho ang maraming tao. What a cop out.

Breaking News: Gretchen Barreto Undergoes Surgery for Appendicitis

Gretchen Barreto underwent surgery for appendicitis after complaining of severe stomach pain, according to SNN (Showbiz News Ngayon). The singer-actress complained of pain right after coming home from Singapore.

An MRI revealed the inflamed appendix. I don't know if Gretchen is so delusional that she thought she can stop her appendix from bursting because she asked the doctors to postpone the surgery to be able to celebrate Father's Day with her partner Tony Boy Cojuangco and daughter Dominique.

I guess even a self-confessed goddess of beauty like Gretchen can't stop pesky medical emergencies like appendicitis from happening. She tried to bargain for postponement but eventually it dawned on her that her delusions have no control over her body. HAHAHA

At first I thought the medical emergency was her silicon-enhanced lips ruptured. Heh. Oh, well. Maybe next time.

In other Gretchen Barreto news, she and erstwhile friend Nadia Montenegro have kissed and made up at the wake of famed talent manager Douglas Quijano. It was Nadia who made the first move, saying she felt it was the right time. I agree. There are so many people and witness there. Even cameras and reporters are following the star-studded wake. Where else is the perfect place to reconcile?

It was also in the same wake that mother and daughter Anabelle Rama and Ruffa Gutierrez took the first step towards their reconciliation. It was Ruffa who approached her moneyger. Kailangan ng magkabati ni Ruffa at Anabelle kasi baka marami pang ibulgar ang matabil nyang nanay tungkol sa kanya.

Speaking of Gretchen. Bong Revilla was also interviewed on SNN to promote an ABS-CBN project titled "Agimat," which originally starred the Revilla patriarch Ramon Revilla Sr.

The project will be headlined by Jake Cuenca, Gerald Anderson, Coco Martin and Bong Revilla's son, Jolo Revilla. Bong's reminder to his son? "Huwag mong pahiyain ang Revilla clan sa akting mo."

When I heard this, I was giving the side eye to Bong Revilla. I wanted to smack him in the face. Napakababaw. Di ba matagal nang binigyan ng kahihiyan ni Jolo Revilla ang pamilya nya? And I'm not talking about his son's ham acting on Totoy Bato.

Charice Pempengco in Alvin and the Chipmunks the Sqeakuel

Charice Pempengco is back after lending her voice to one of the Chipettes, the female counterparts of Alvin, Simon and Theodore in the upcoming Alvin and the Chipmunks sequel.Charice also graced the Celebrity Fight Night Performance, a tribute to Mohammad Ali. In that event, she once again impressed the audience with her powerful voice.

See this is just one reason why personally I am not angered by Chip Tsao and his comments about the Philippines/Filipinos. We know who we are as a people, as individuals. We are not defined by "how most of our Filipinas in Hong Kong make their living." To me Chip Tsao's insults do not hold water because there is Charice and other Filipinas who are making waves here and abroad.

People who make sweeping generalizations about a certain race or a group of people are fools and are stupid. Enough said. As for the apology, our government should not have demanded one. Let it come naturally. Otherwise it will not be sincere. Yes, Chip Tsao already apologized but it was clear he was not being sincere, "The ’servant’ is a sacred term. A Hong Kong government official is a civil servant. We are all servants to God, right? I’m now aware that I’ve crossed the line and I offer my public apology." Ampucha, pa-cute! (roll eyes)

Chip Tsao: The War at Home

The latest person to get the ire of Filipinos is Hong Kong journalist Chip Tsao for calling the Philippines a "nation of servants" in his article "The War at Home" published in HK Magazine. So just by reading the phrase "called the Philippines a nation of servants," are you now in a state of wanting to kick a puppy due to intense rage? Before you cave in and do just that, take a chill pill and read on.

The War At Home

The Russians sank a Hong Kong freighter last month, killing the seven Chinese seamen on board. We can live with that—Lenin and Stalin were once the ideological mentors of all Chinese people. The Japanese planted a flag on Diàoyú Island. That’s no big problem—we Hong Kong Chinese love Japanese cartoons, Hello Kitty, and shopping in Shinjuku, let alone our round-the-clock obsession with karaoke.

But hold on—even the Filipinos? Manila has just claimed sovereignty over the scattered rocks in the South China Sea called the Spratly Islands, complete with a blatant threat from its congress to send gunboats to the South China Sea to defend the islands from China if necessary. This is beyond reproach. The reason: there are more than 130,000 Filipina maids working as $3,580-a-month cheap labor in Hong Kong. As a nation of servants, you don’t flex your muscles at your master, from whom you earn most of your bread and butter.

As a patriotic Chinese man, the news has made my blood boil. I summoned Louisa, my domestic assistant who holds a degree in international politics from the University of Manila, hung a map on the wall, and gave her a harsh lecture. I sternly warned her that if she wants her wages increased next year, she had better tell every one of her compatriots in Statue Square on Sunday that the entirety of the Spratly Islands belongs to China.

Grimly, I told her that if war breaks out between the Philippines and China, I would have to end her employment and send her straight home, because I would not risk the crime of treason for sponsoring an enemy of the state by paying her to wash my toilet and clean my windows 16 hours a day. With that money, she would pay taxes to her government, and they would fund a navy to invade our motherland and deeply hurt my feelings.

Oh yes. The government of the Philippines would certainly be wrong if they think we Chinese are prepared to swallow their insult and sit back and lose a Falkland Islands War in the Far East. They may have Barack Obama and the hawkish American military behind them, but we have a hostage in each of our homes in the Mid-Levels or higher. Some of my friends told me they have already declared a state of emergency at home. Their maids have been made to shout “China, Madam/Sir” loudly whenever they hear the word “Spratly.” They say the indoctrination is working as wonderfully as when we used to shout, “Long live Chairman Mao!” at the sight of a portrait of our Great Leader during the Cultural Revolution. I’m not sure if that’s going a bit too far, at least for the time being.

The article is a satirical take on the dispute over the Spratlys Islands between the Philippines, China and our other Southeast Asian neighbors. While reading the article I was thinking "What!? Is this guy serious?" May be he is, may be he's not. It was clear to me though that it was intended to make the reader laugh, or at the very least, giggle. It was trying to be humorous, but it was done in bad taste.

Bet he doesn't even know that his country is trying to wrest control over a group of Islands that is so far from its territory. Its only claim to sovereignty are a bunch of historical documents mentioning some islands that their ancestors passed through or lived in for some time. The Philippines is the only claimant to the Spratlys that can use "close proximity to the dispute islands" as proof of its sovereignty. We want to take this dispute in the international courts, but no country, not even the mighty China, is taking the challenge. Who is now afraid, huh?

Don't waste you energy on Chip Tsao. To me he is just a pesky, little gnat wanna-be.

Bayani Agbayani Scandal: Kuwentong Lasing

So, comedian Bayani Agbayani recently got embroiled in a minor traffic accident that was captured on video and uploaded on video-sharing site YouTube. I wasn't going to write about this news because, c'mon, ito ay kuwentong lasing. Anyway...The men who were the other party in the accident and the ones who recorded the ensuing scandal are assholes. Notice, most of them were all calm and collected, like they were all just discussing the weather, while Bayani Agbayani's gutter mouth were cussing them from head to foot. Don't you dare say you were just taking the high road. Please, bitches. you knew there was a camera and you were all being careful not to say and do the wrong thing. I wondered if Bayani Agbayani were not a celebrity these assholes would have wasted precious memory to capture the incident?

As for Bayani Agbayani, you are lame and pathetic when drunk. Iinom-inom ka tapos pag naka-aksidente, ise-settle mo.

Ang mga kwentong lasing talaga they have their share of unintentional comedies. In this instance, I LOL every time Bayani shouts "putang ina mo." Every single time he uttered those precious words I wince and then laugh. Pucha, ang lutong. Dapat isawsaw sa suka para makain. Bayani was like a typical lasing na ayaw magpaawat. But then at the 4:33-4:38 mark in the video above, his voice suddenly went soft when he learned how much damage he will pay, "6000 thousand? Mahal naman" I thought, "Finally! Self-awareness that he was being scammed by those assholes." But he went ahead and paid so the liquor still won in the end.

Iwa Moto Denies She's Married, But She Is Offensive

GMA Artist talent and Starstruck finalist Iwa Moto has denied that she is now married to her non-showbiz boyfriend, who she also credits for helping her cope with the recent death of her Japanese father.
Her actual words in her interview in Chika Minute was, "Kapag nagmukha na kong losyang, 'pag nagmukha na kong nanay, 'pag nagmukha na kong may asawa, ibig sabihin may asawa na ko. Eh mukha na ba kong losyang ngayon? Nakakalabas pa nga ako."

Congratulations, you dumbfuck!
(LOL) You just managed to offend millions of women, not only here but all over the world, with just a few words. What is wrong with her statement? Let us count the ways.

1. ang mga may asawa losyang na
2. may nag-iiba sa mukha ng isang babae kapag naging nanay na siya, and not in a positive way
3. there is a certain look to people na may-asawa na, and not in a good way
4. pag may asawa ka na at nalosyang ka na dahil nag-asawa ka, hindi ka na makakalabas ng bahay

HAHAHA. You know, iha, I mean, Iwa, words are very powerful. You don't just throw them out there. You have to know that every word you utter has implications. Luckily, maybe I'm the only one who caught on to what your words implied. That means you're still not relevant/famous enough for women's group to ride your coattails. Sorry. :(

One more thing, Iwa Moto also denies that she and her boyfriend are living in. "Nasa QC [Quezon City] siya, nasa Las Piñas ako. 'Pag madaling araw minsan, oo natutulog ako sa kanila, pero katabi ko mommy niya."

Ganyan din yung kapitbahay namin, nakikitulog sa bahay ng boyfriend pero katabi niya ang nanay ng boyfriend nya. Hayun, tatlo na ang anak.

Boyet Fajardo Scandal: Who Is Boyet Fajardo?

The Boyet Fajardo scandal is buzzing on the Internets!! On March 13, 2009 at the Duty Free Phils at Fiesta Mall, Boyet Fajardo made a huge spectacle of himself by throwing a hissy fit on a poor, unsuspecting cashier whose only crime is to request identifications from Fajardo for credit card verification.

First, WHO IS THIS JACKASS? Second, when throwing a tantrum in public one must have at least name and face recognition. From what I read, Boyet Fajardo is a major brand in RTW. Not couture, RTW. Third, seriously, WHO IS THIS JACKASS?

Now, we've had all our share of little incidences in which we lost patience with a food server, security guard, cashier, etc. But most of us don't take it to the next level. This man takes the cake because he refused to be calmed down by managers and other officers of the mall. He even had the gall to demand that the cashier go down on his knees before him and ask for forgiveness. Not satisfied, he even wanted to slap the cashier on the face. Boyet, Diyos at santo lang ang niluluhuran. Tsaka ang mga lalaki ng mga bakla. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.)

For the sake of his job, the cashier did what Fajardo wanted. Did Fajardo let the matter rest? No. He went on and on as if a grave sin has been done to him. Seriously, who acts this way? The guy must have been on something or he has a very serious case of megalomania. What more did he want?

Fajardo threatened to call someone of power that he says he knew. Why he would do this? Classic bully behaviour. If your powers are not enough to flay your enemy, you call other bullies to do the dirty deed for you. In Fajardo's case, since he refused to ID himself, he must have thought the people around him would finally believe he is who he says he is if someone with power will do the ID-ing for him.

Boyet Fajardo, you are only great in your own mind. You are the living proof that money cannot buy class.

There's one picture of Boyet Fajardo I found on the net. I refuse to put it here, baka he suddenly gains face recognition, at the very least.

Read the whole incident from the original source.

There's even a video evidence now.

Thanks Carol
